What days/classes do you teach?
Catch me Tuesday nights at 7:15p and bright and early Thursday mornings at 5:30a!
How did you get started at CKO, and how long have you been instructing?
I’ve been instructing for about six weeks now! I joined CKO with the goal of becoming an instructor because I’ve always loved sharing fighting techniques from my martial arts background. I was a member for about two months before I officially started teaching—and I’ve been hooked ever since.
What do you do when you’re not at CKO?
By day, I’m an IT Team Leader at iPEC (The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching). My team helps students in the coach training program with any tech challenges they run into. Basically, I help people knock out problems in a different way!
Fun facts about me:
I’ve got 5 brothers (and yes—3 of them are in better shape than me… for now).
I played ice hockey for most of my childhood.
I’m a recording artist—Stevie McCall—and I make mostly hip hop music.
I’ve got a serious sweet tooth.
What’s your favorite part about being an instructor?
The energy. Hands down. I love watching people from all walks of life come together to give it their all for 45 minutes to an hour. The effort, the sweat, the focus—it’s powerful. Getting to lead that charge and help push people through is a huge privilege.
